Park Kultury station (Circle line) is closed for reconstruction
Park Kultury station (Circle line) is closed for reconstruction and escalators replacement from February 5, 2011 till the end of the year.
The station will be closed for passengers and the trains will not stop there. Passengers are requested to use Park Kultury station of Sokolnicheskaya line instead.
The vestibule of this station will be exit only from the opening time till 09:30 and entrance only from 09:30 till the closing time. Extra ticket offices will be opened for passengers near the vestibule of Park Kultury station (Sokolnicheskaya line).
The replacement of escalators at Park Kultury station (Circle line) is just another stage of Moscow metro stations and ticket halls reconstruction programme.
The escalators have already been replaced at the following stations: Avtozavodskaya, Novokuznetskaya, Belorusskaya (radial line), Dinamo, Teatral’naya, Chistye Prudy, Krasnye Vorota, Kurskaya (radial line), Paveletskaya, Ploshchad’ Revolutsii, Lubyanka, Okhotny Ryad, Semenovskaya, Mayakovskaya, Taganskaya (Circle line), Arbatskaya (radial line) and Dobryninskaya and Elektrozavodskaya, Kurskaya (Circle line), Oktyabrskaya (Circle line) and at Belorusskaya station interchange between radial and Circle lines.
More stations will be closed for reconstruction soon, they include: Medvedkovo, VDNkH, Krasnye Vorota, Babushkinskaya, Marksistskaya, Baumanskaya, Prospekt Mira (Circle line) and Novogireevo.
